品系描述

BALB/c小鼠毛色白化,是生物医学研究中使用最广泛的近交系模型之一,特别是在免疫学和传染病研究中应用广泛。乳腺肿瘤发生率约为10%~20%。有一定数量的卵巢、肾上腺和肺部肿瘤、白血病的发生。肺癌发病率雌性26%,雄性29%。白血病发病率雌性12%,雄性10%。血压与其他近交系小鼠相比为最高,有自发高血压症。
