Fig.1 Detection of AGER expression in lung by RT-PCR. Mouse Ager mRNA (204 bp) was detectable only in wild-type C57BL/6 mice. Human AGER mRNA (169 bp) was detectable only in homozygous hAGER knockin mice but not in wild-type mice. Lung RNA was extracted from 6-week-old male wild-type C57BL/6 (WT)(n=3) and homozygous hAGER knockin mice (HO) (n=3), then cDNA libraries were synthesized by reverse transcription, followed by PCR with mRNA primers.
