Fig.1 Detection of TGFBR2 expression in subcutaneous fat pad and lung by RT-PCR. Mouse Tgfbr2 mRNA (145 bp) was detectable only in wild-type C57BL/6 mice. Human TGFBR2 mRNA (319 bp/429 bp) was detectable only in homozygous hTGFBR2 knockin mice but not in wild-type mice. Subcutaneous fat pad and lung RNA was extracted from 7-week-old male wild-type C57BL/6 (WT)(n=1) and homozygous hTGFBR2 knockin mice (HO) (n=2), then cDNA libraries were synthesized by reverse transcription, followed by PCR with mRNA primers.
